We don’t just infuse our honey with pepper flavor — we blend in a Calabrian chili pepper purée. This gives our hot honey a bold, pepper-forward flavor. The purée also naturally thins the honey, making it easier to drizzle on everything. A dash of vinegar brightens the palate, while a hint of salt enhances balance and depth. The result is a hot honey that’s crafted, not just flavored.

Who we are

Back in 2018, on our Pizza food truck, we crafted a special hot honey specifically for our most popular pizza, which we called the “Bee Sting.” Our customers couldn’t get enough of the hot honey we drizzle on top of it, so we started bottling it to share that experience beyond the food truck. The rest, as they say, is history.

Unlike other hot honeys that simply infuse a pepper flavor into honey, we take it a step further and blending a rich Calabrian chili pepper puree directly into the honey. This blending gives Hive House its unmistakable bold, chili-forward flavor. It also helps with the viscosity making it easier to drizzle. To round out the heat, we balance everything perfectly with just the right touch of salt and a subtle hint of vinegar, creating a truly unforgettable flavor profile that works on just about anything..
